Horn animal nurser
Ranu is a kind of milk bottle used to feed newly born calves and lambs. It is made from livestock horn and has an opening at the top. Ranu are used when the mother of a newborn calf or lamb has died or is unable to produce milk to feed the baby; at such times the ranu comes very handy. Milk is poured inside the horn to and acts as a funnel to feed the baby animal.
