Deerskin Robe

Shalok are made of deer skin without scraping off the fur. No additional material is used in making the robe. Though the robe keeps one warm in winter, it may also be worn in other seasons. However, due to the rareness and difficulty in acquiring the materials, these robes were only found in rich and noble families. The male shalok is shorter than those worn by females. The male's robes only come down to the knee and is looser than the shalok that women wear.
