Lozey

Lozey is a literary genre popular in western valleys of Bhutan. It is recited by men and women equally. Most Lozeys people are previously composed and recited by people while some are recited extemporarily. There are various types of Lozeys including those of friendly, confrontational, joyous and melancholic nature. Some are direct narrations of stories while others can be insuanation and sarcasm.
