Auwle of Laya

Auley ritual is observed on the 15th of 9th month in Laya village with the singing of a unique song. The ritual is observed to avert illnesses, conflicts and harm to both people and livestock. The lyrics are poetic descriptions of the origins of Laya place and people and their cultures.
