Account of Sacred Objects
Bhutan has a rich heritage of sacred objects which have been passed down without disruption of decline due to natural disasters or societal upheavels. The sacred objects of Bhutan have often colourful accounts of their origin and creation and of their provenance. Accounts of statues which have come flying miraculously or become live and speak are common stories in Bhutan.
